Photodegradation of tebuconazole mediated by a novel hybrid phenalenone based photosensitizer

The aim of this work is to evaluate the use phenalenone (PN) grafted sand in photodegradation tebuconazole (TEB). PN was covalently attached via click reactions between functionalized and derivatives. study conducted an annular reactor equipped with immersed UV visible lamps. In first step TEB studied presence free PN. influence molar ratio = PN/TEB investigated; a maximal effect observed R close 769; beyond value shielding appeared. lifetime sand-bound were mechanism investigated. Covalent binding photosensitizer resulted 80 nm red shift absorption band region along important increase degradative efficiency. PN-Sand more stable under irradiation. main type II some contribution I.
